Rutgers taking a look at sophomore forward

Odds are, most of our readers have never heard of Cheltenham High School in Wyncote, Pennsylvania.


But, if you want to see an exciting basketball prospect in action, we recommend a road trip.


The school is home to 6-foot-7 sophomore forward Austin Johnson, one of the top post prospects in the region's 2008 class.


Johnson may not be a household name, but he is already on the radar of the top programs in the area.


Rutgers associate head coach Jim Carr, as well as Villanova assistant Ed Pinckney, have caught the athlete in action on multiple occasions this year.


He also played in front of the Big 5 coaches when his team played at the Palestra.
