Ellingson headed to Iowa

After taking his official visit to Iowa over the weekend, Class of 2014 shooting guard Brady Ellingson took a couple of days to think things over and decided that he had found the right fit for college. On Tuesday, the 6-foot-4, 175-pound Wisconsin native pulled the trigger and gave his verbal commitment to Coach Fran McCaffery and the Hawkeyes.

"I just committed to Iowa," said Ellingson. "Actually, Coach Dillard, the assistant coach, came up and met with me after school today, so I told him I was going to go there and then I just got off the phone with Coach McCaffery and told him too."

"They were both thrilled," he continued. "They said they wanted me really badly and couldn't be more excited to have me."
