2013 class bolsters defensive tackle position



There were quite a few positions where NC State helped themselves in a major way on National Signing Day, just from a numbers perspective. The Wolfpack at least doubled the number of scholarship quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers on Feb. 6, and they also reloaded in the secondary.

One position where NC State didn't need an influx from a pure numbers standpoint, but locked up a pair of highly talented players anyways was at defensive tackle, where the Pack inked Kenton Gibbs of Detroit (Mich.) Cass Tech and Monty Nelson of Plantation (Fla.) High.
