McDonald talks about recruiting and his 3 offers
LAWTON, OKLA.- Louisiana Tech will look to add several defensive backs in the 2012 class. They could find one in a state it does not recruit heavily, Oklahoma.
Adrian McDonald is that player. Listed as an athlete in the rivals.com database, McDonald could possibly play inside receiver for Tony Franklin's offense. McDonald plays quarterback at the high school level and will have a good understanding of defense and offense.
McDonald says he does not care what side of the ball he plays on the next level but likes to have the ball in his hands in space.
"I like touching the ball and making people miss in the open field; but I think I'm athletic enough and durable to play corner," McDonald said.
McDonald said he does not have a favorite school yet.
"I am still in the process of deciding which school is best for me and shows me the most family oriented environment," McDonald added.
Tech defensive coordinator Tommy Spangler is recruiting McDonald to La. Tech and McDonald says his relationship is good with Spangler.
"[Our relationship] is good. We talk very often, and [Spangler] is a real good guy and I think I could play for him," McDonald said of Spangler.
McDonald has yet to visit Tech but plans on coming to a game in the fall. He also said he plans to make a commitment before his senior season begins.
