Landry about to turn to recruiting

Midland College guard Guy Landry isn't quite ready to turn his attention to the recruiting process. After a long season that ended with a loss in the National Junior College Division I title game and a ten-hour bus trip back home, Landry is still recharging his batteries.

"Not quite yet," Landry said. "I'm taking this week to kind of set everything up. I'm not sure which schools I'm going to visit and when."

Landry, a 6-foot-5, 210-pound guard, listed Missouri, Missouri State, Wichita State, Minnesota, Texas-El Paso and Miami as the schools who are currently recruiting him the hardest. All six had at least one coach at the national tournament in Hutchinson, KS last weekend. While he isn't ready to separate any schools, one coach has established a solid rapport with the Midland prospect.
