Brissett narrows it down to seven

West Palm Beach (Fla.) Dwyer quarterback Jacoby Brissett racked up numerous offers throughout the spring after leading the Panthers to a state title in 2009. The 6-foot-5, 225-pound Rivals250 prospect threw for over 2,200 yards and added another 400-plus with his feet, showing colleges that he could be a dual-threat if needed.

Brissett is also a star basketball player who is being heavily recruited in that sport as well. This summer, he spent much of his time on the AAU circuit and sort of put recruiting on the back burner a bit. In fact, he admits he stepped back from the process, especially interviews, going so far as turning off his phone. He spoke at length on Monday afternoon, though.
