Bruins to get visit from point guard had the opportunity to speak with the coaching staff at John W. Logan Junior College in Carterville, Illinois regarding point guard recruit Lazeric Jones, who is a 6-2, 200 pound talent who has blossomed in the last year into perhaps the number one JUCO point guard in the nation.

Jones played at Simeon High School in Chicago and backed up Derrick Rose at the point guard position. He is a young man who since high school has developed physically and in addition has acquired skills he didn't have at the high school level where he was not recruited as a Division I level player. Jones is currently shooting 45% from the three point line and is an outstanding defender according to his coaches. His coaches state he is an exceptional athlete who is a pure point guard with all the necessary skills. In addition, he is described as a very bright young man who is solid academically.
