Loving WVU, Ebanks continues on his visits

NEW YORK-Devin Ebanks was effusive in his praise of Bob Huggins, the West Virginia basketball program, and the campus on Thursday, but as his support team has made clear, he will take his further visits before deciding on a college for 2008. He will graduate from Oakdale (Conn.) St. Thomas More on May 17 and then make his decision.

Ebanks, considered one of the two best undecided seniors in this year's class, made his remarks at the Sports Club LA in Manhattan, where he and his All-American teammates are prepping for Saturday's Jordan Brand Classic feature game at 9 p.m. (ESPNU) at Madison Square Garden.

Ebanks, a sinewy 6-foot-8, 195-pound big guard-small forward, visited West Virginia last weekend. Following this week's all-star stop, he, his mother Yvonne Jackson of Long Island City, Queens, and AAU coach Lawrence McGugins will travel to Texas the weekend of April 25, Rutgers, May 2; and then finish at Memphis May 9.
