Clark's hard work obvious Pt. 2

October 26, 2007 - Going into his senior year at Bishop O'Connell (VA), Jason Clark will once not only once again be the straw that stirs that team's proverbial drink, but in many observer's eyes is the best all around player in the Washington, DC/Baltimore area - truly an honor given that region's national reputation as a hotbed of high school hoops.

If his play during the Crab City Fall Classic is a barometer of this season's work, those lofty expectations - which also include surpassing junior year averages of 21.6 points and 6 rebounds per game - are justified, as before tweaking a groin muscle Clark was simply dominant.

In O'Connell's 83-73 victory over Washington Catholic Athletic Association rival DeMatha Catholic (VA), Clark scored 22 points, via fast break dunks, and-one opportunities created by scoring through contact, and jump shots. What's more, is that Jason continued to lead his team on both sides of the floor, as well as provide his trademark defense against both guards and frontcourt guys, along with never shying away from a physical battle.
