Arizona needs more from Shakur in postseason

In November, during Arizona's 4-1 conference start, UA point guard Mustafa Shakur turned heads by starting off the season playing the best basketball of his previously disappointing career. That month, Shakur averaged 11.4 points, 3.0 rebounds, 8.4 assists and 3.2 turnovers a game.

In December, Arizona went 7-0 and a good reason for that was Shakur's play, which was arguably even better than the previous month. Shakur averaged 14.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, 7.1 assists and 3.1 turnovers a game, creating a reputation for himself as perhaps the best point guard in the country.
