Loss to USC no surprise
Although there is bound to be some disappointment with Arizona's loss to USC on Thursday, it was hard not to see the loss coming. The Wildcats have simply not been playing good basketball and it seems as if the team is struggling to find an identity in more ways than one.
USC is likely one of the top 25 teams in the country and for any team to win in the Galen Center when the Trojans are playing as they are is going to be a difficult feat. The Trojans match up well with most teams and are going to be well coached every game.

The reaction of the Trojans fans and Arizona's fans as well is that Thursday's game was an upset. However, was it really? The thought here is that it was not because of the quality of the conference.
The fact is that in every major conference, it is quite difficult to go on the road and win. With the way that the conference has improved, there are going to be many more games like this for other teams and there will be no guarantees throughout the rest of the conference season.
