Bradley lands another

Jim Les added another piece to the Bradley recruiting puzzle when Daniel West, a 6-foot-1, 165-pound point guard from Saginaw (Mich.) verbally committed to the program on Thursday.

According to Saginaw head coach Lou Dawkins, West picked Bradley over offers from Western Michigan, Central Michigan, Nevada, Wichita State and IPFW.

"He went there this past weekend and fell in love with the school and thought it was the right place for him," Dawkins said.

According to Dawkins, Bradley is adding a fundamental floor leader to the class.

"He is a true point guard, a real floor general, that has tremendous savvy and a great handle," Dawkins said. "He loves to defend and anticipation skills on the defensive end might be his great asset."

West played with the Michigan Mustangs AAU team.
