Despite brilliant play, Sulaimon still at one offer
If the word wasn't already spreading on class of 2012 prospect Rasheed Sulaimon , it most certainly is now. The 6-foot-2 guard from Houston Strake Jesuit put on a brilliant display playing for the Houston Hoops this weekend at the Nike EYBL event in his hometown.
Sulaimon has an almost Kobe-esque style with which he plays, and it shows in everything from his mannerisms on the court to the way that he can pull up jumpers with a defender right in his face. He was in top form on Saturday night in front of a big crowd in attendance to watch the hometown Houston Hoops take on the St. Louis Eagles, and by game's end he was the talk of the building. He started strong, scoring 11 of the Hoops' first 14 points, and finished by carrying his team into overtime by nailing two three-pointers in the final 30 seconds of the game. If that weren't enough, he spent the entire game on the defensive end inside Bradley Beal's jersey. Beal had a hard time even getting the ball, and when he did he was never comfortable with it. Beal is the No. 7 player on the 2011 Rivals 150.
