Wake Forest has added another four-star prospect to their 2018 recruiting haul, this time it's point guard Jamie Lewis who has made the call.

A native of Georgia who initially committed to ACC foe N.C. State before opening things up in the Fall, Lewis is on campus in Winston-Salem for his official visit this weekend. However, he's been on campus before and Danny Manning and his staff went all out to nab the versatile floor general once he opened things back up.

“He really connected with Danny Manning and Jamil Jones,” Lewis’ father Ryan told Rivals.com “His heart was always with Wake.”

Capable of playing as a scorer or a playmaker, Lewis has been battling through injuries for much of the last year. However, he's healthy again and is looking forward to showing what he's really about during his senior season at national power Findlay Prep in Las Vegas.

"Jamie said he really wanted to be with Wake because of the offense that Danny Manning runs,” said the elder Lewis. “With the high screen and pick and roll he said it’s a perfect opportunity and team for a true point guard.”

Lewis is the latest to join in on a major surge in talent headed to play for Manning. He's the third four-star prospect to join the 2018 class and fifth in the last two years. In 2018 he joins top 30 combo forward Jaylen Hoard, top 85 wing Isaiah Mucius and three-star combo guard Sharone Wright. With Lewis' addition, Wake's class will rise to No. 12 overall in the 2018 team rankings.
