LEWES, Del. -- Villanova signee Will Sheridan got off to a strong start, scoring 13 of his team high 15 points in the first half as Sanford H.S. cruised to an easy 54-22 victory over Landmark Christian on Monday morning at the Slam Dunk to the Beach.
The game was a consolation tilt in the Tip-Off Classic bracket at the Slam Dunk.
Sanford led 33-10 after the first half as Landmark Christian struggled to mount any sort of offensive attack.
Sheridan, meanwhile, was very efficient, shooting seven of 11 from the floor and also grabbed six rebounds. He also got help from the Warrior backcourt, with three Sanford guard hitting for double figures in the blowout win.
Randolph Morris, Landmark Christian's 6-10 junior center, struggled from the floor but managed to finish with 14 points and 14 rebounds. Morris shot just three of 14 from the floor and scored most of his points from the charity stripe (8/15 FTs).
