For 6-foot-5 offensive lineman Bradley Bozeman, the University of Alabama is the place to be. The first commitment in the Crimson Tide's 2013 class recently visited UA and left camp raving about his experience.
"Man, I love Alabama," Bozeman said. "It is the place to be. I just love everything about it."
Bozeman got a chance to participate in Alabama's offensive line/defensive line camp over the weekend and performed well in the drills. The Handley High School star received constant praise from the Crimson Tide coaching staff, who have seen steady improvement each time Bozeman has visited UA.
"They said every time I work with them I get better," Bozeman said. "They said that is one thing they love about me. I strive to do my best, and I want to be the best."
Bozeman said he will spend the rest of the summer working on his balance as well as lifting weights to get himself ready for his junior year at Handley High School.
Bozeman committed to Alabama on June 8, becoming the first member of the Crimson Tide's 2013 class. He is firm on his commitment, saying he is confident Alabama is the school for him.
" I am 100 percent," Bozeman said. "I'm not taking anymore visits. I'm done shopping."
Bozeman may be done with visits to other schools, but he still wants to make a few trips to Tuscaloosa soon.
"I don't know the next time I'm going, but I know I'm going to be at pretty much all the Alabama football games this year," Bozeman said. "My plan is to make one more trip before we get back to school just to hang out."
The Roanoke, Ala., native said he loves Tuscaloosa and enjoys making as many visits as he can to UA's campus.
"The atmosphere is just phenomenal," Bozeman said. "They have a great campus and great academics. Everything is right there together, the dorms the cafeteria. Everything is great."
