It was almost a year ago when Jacob Williams was named MVP of the USSSA nationals in Fort Wayne , IN after leading his Illinois Wolves team to the title. That was the last time that college coaches were able to see him in a competitive game atmosphere, but make no mistake, he has made strides and he is ready to showcase himself in July.
