Henry breaks down future plans
Xavier Henry is very much looking forward to playing for Bill Self and the Kansas Jayhawks. The 6-foot-6, 225-pound shooting guard from Putnam City High School in Warr Acres, Okla., has made that quite clear on a number of occasions. With that in mind, Henry, the No. 8 ranked player in the 2009 class might not arrive in Lawrence as soon as originally expected. Jayhawk Slant just spoke to Henry and has the very latest.
For Henry, the No. 3 ranked shooting guard in the 2009 class, the original plan was to arrive in Lawrence, along with his mother, Barbara Henry, in late May. After working a camp in Wichita, Kan., Henry headed back home to Oklahoma City. Okla.
