Desrosiers cuts list to eight
It appears as if Al Skinner and his staff will have to look elsewhere for a big man in the 2010 recruiting class. Carson Desrosiers, a 6'10" forward from Central Catholic told EagleAction that he's narrowed his list down to eight schools and Boston College isn't on it.
"I have a top eight list of schools that I'm more interested in right now. In no particular order it's Providence, Syracuse, Purdue, Marquette, Arizona State, UNLV, Stanford, and Georgia Tech," said Desrosiers.
When will Desrosiers be trimming his list down?
"I would expect to trim down my list soon. I have a couple favorites from that list already that I've talked to my high school coach, AAU coach, and friends and family about. I think eventually I will narrow it down but right now I don't have a timeframe. It could be a month from now, or it could be a couple months from now," said Desrosiers.
Desrosiers didn't want to get into too many details on why BC wasn't in his top eight. The versatile big man said it was more about his fondness for the other schools as opposed to a dislike for BC.
"I visited all of the other schools except for Georgia Tech and I've liked what I've seen. I guess you could say I just liked the other schools more than Boston College," said Desrosiers.
The summer is already starting to fill up for Desrosiers.
"I got invited to the NBA Players Association Top 100 Camp in June and I plan on attending that," said Desrosiers.
