Zoubek making his presence felt

Devils Illustrated When Shelden Williams left Duke University for the NBA in 2006, no one expected the Blue Devils to spend the next two-plus seasons without a post presence. In fact, with then five-star center Brian Zoubek set to arrive in Durham in the fall of '06, Blue Devil fans were expecting their beloved team to feature a formidable front-line for years to come.
Instead, since Williams' departure Duke basketball has been dissected and looked upon as a team without the necessary pieces to make a legitimate run at a national title. Though there have been multiple reasons why Duke has stumbled the last two seasons early in the NCAA tournament, a lack of a productive true post player certainly hasn't helped the Blue Devils' cause.
