With his Tipton  team down two in the closing seconds of regulation
tonight against Franklin Central, Derek Elston did not flinch. First he
made an aggressive move inside and was fouled. Then with 2.5 seconds on the
clock he calmly drilled a free throw. After a timeout he stepped up again and
swished another to put his 2A team into overtime with the #8 ranked 4A team in
the state in the final of the City Securities Hall of Fame tournament at New
Castle High School.
