Hardrick Ends High-School Long Commitment
The past three years have been a wild ride for Oklahoma City (Okla.) Putnam City forward Kyle Hardrick. From Lawton to Norman to Oklahoma City. From Kelvin Sampson to Jeff Capel. He has certainly shown an adaptability to change.
Since giving his verbal commitment to Kelvin Sampson his freshman year of high school, Hardrick has stayed committed to the Oklahoma basketball program. He will finally make it official Nov. 12 when he signs his Letter of Intent to Oklahoma.
"I'll be signing at 11:30," Hardrick said. "It was all about the school, for me. I've always been an OU fan. I've watched them since (Eduardo) Najera was there and they were my team.
"I really like the coaches and players, too. I'm just comfortable with everything there. I've been playing with Cade (Davis), Blake (Griffin), and Taylor (Griffin) since I was in 7th grade. So, I have a good relationship with the team, and coach Capel and I get along really well."
