Crump working to narrow list
Now that head coach Craig Robinson has broken the ice with his first hoops commitment from the Class of 2009, the question becomes this - who's next? The Beavers have formulated their top targets list and Givon Crump is smack dab in the middle of it. The staff followed the progress of the solid 6-foot-6, 210-pound wing currently at the Brewster Academy all summer long and are hoping to make his cut for an official visit this fall.
"I just finished up the AAU season and I'm getting rest, but other than that I've just been working in Arizona with my dad," Crump said. "I felt that the season went pretty well. I did really well at Reebok U All-American Camp and I think I continued to play pretty well the rest of the summer. I shot the ball very well at the beginning of July and that carried through the rest of the summer."
