Johnson and staff nab a point guard
Trent Johnson and staff didn't waste any time in putting their stamp on the LSU Basketball team immediately.
While many didn't expect the new LSU coaching staff to sign any more players for the Class of 2008, the first-year LSU coach picked up a late addition to the Class of 2008 this past week when Lee Academy point guard Chris Bass announced that he would be a Tiger this upcoming season.
A 6-1, 175-pound point guard, the younger brother of former Tiger All-American Brandon Bass is a three-star prospect according to the latest Rivals.com rankings. Bass joins a 2008 class that includes three forwards in Delwan Graham and Dennis Harris out of Georgia and Storm Warren from Monroe.
"I have had LSU in mind for a long time," Bass said.
