A&M commit on a mission after falling in rankings
Hyattsville (MD) DeMatha shooting guard Naji Hibbert made his commitment to Texas A&M earlier this month, and in doing so Hibbert said that he was hoping that a weight would lift off him now that his decision was out of the way. That weight drug down his game over the spring and tail end of his high school season according to Hibbert and his older brother Hakim.
Now, however, with his decision out of the way, Hibbert got back to doing what he has always done best on the basketball court - score. At the Bob Gibbon's Tournament of Champions in North Carolina this past weekend, Hibbert put on a show that earned him All-Tournament honors as one of the top 10 scorers in the tournament by averaging more than 20 points per game.
