Mama knows best; Ebanks a Mountaineer
JAMAICA QUEENS, N.Y.--When Devin Ebanks awoke at his home here Sunday morning at 7 a.m., he tried to keep in mind what mother Yvonne Jackson had advised.
"She told me to think about, 'Could I trust Coach Bob Huggins? Could I make an impact (at WVU)? Where did I feel comfortable."
And so he ended a protracted recruitment that has lasted for almost two years when he called Huggins with the news about 9 a.m. He told the world at halftime of the title game of the isa/Nike Spring Classic in South Jamaica.
