Hamilton sees change take place on list
Despite recently trimming his list of schools to five, the recruiting process hasn't gotten any easier for Jordan Hamilton. In fact, trying to make a decision might be more difficult than ever for the 6-foot-7, 210-pound small forward from Dominguez High School in Los Angeles, Calif. Hamilton, who just removed one school from his list and added other, spoke to Jayhawk Slant about his recruitment and the possibility of taking several visits to Lawrence within in the next year.
Hamilton, the No. 8 ranked prospect in the class of 2009, picked Texas, Kansas, USC, Connecticut and Syracuse as his finalists for a variety of reasons. When researching all of the schools on his list, and after going over the pluses and minuses of each school, when the dust finally settled, only the Longhorns, Jayhawks, Trojans, Huskies and Orangemen were left standing.
