Painter adjusting to role as a star

Devils Illustrated Norfolk (Va.) Booker T. Washington five-star center Deshawn Painter knew that he would have a target on his back coming into his junior year, as he has received interest from some of the nation's most elite basketball programs.
Until the season started, however, he didn't realize how tough the challenge before him would be. Now that he has played through nearly half of a season facing double teams and sometimes triple teams, the 6-foot-9, 206 pounder is learning how to adjust.
