Aggies signing pair of top 75 recruits Wednesday
Wednesday marks the first day of the early signing period for basketball in the class of 2008 and Texas A&M head coach Mark Turgeon will receive two signed letters-of-intent early in the morning from the east coast.
Montverde (FL) Montverde Academy point guard Dashan Harris and Davie (FL) Westlake Prep power forward David Loubeau will both sign their LOIs to attend A&M next fall as part of A&M's class of 2008 recruiting class.
The signings of Harris and Loubeau are a sign of things to come for the new A&M coaching staff as Turgeon was able to go outside of Texas, something former A&M coach Billy Gillispie didn't do, and pick up two top 75 nationally ranked recruits. It's a sign that the Aggies have arrived on the elite college basketball landscape, and they aren't going anywhere.
