Just hours after UCF's season opening win against Nevada, the Knights got some big news on the recruiting front. 7-foot-4 center Jakub Kusmieruk, who had visited UCF last month, called head coach Kirk Speraw and committed to the Knights.

Kusmieruk attends The John Caroll School, a private school just outside of Baltimore. John Carroll assistant coach Anthony Macri confirmed the pledge Sunday evening.
