Hamilton gives Texas high marks
The Texas Longhorns hosted one of the top junior prospects in the country over the weekend. Compton Dominguez wing Jordan Hamilton made the trip east to The University of Texas after listing Texas as his leader for the last few months. The 6-foot-7, 210-pound scoring machine came away impressed by the unofficial visit giving the people of Austin and the university high marks.
Hamilton was accompanied by his mother and father on the trip to Austin and the No. 8-ranked prospect in the 2009 class says both came away impressed.
Hamilton, who currently holds offers from Texas, UCLA, USC, Connecticut, California, Syracuse, N.C. State, Arizona and Washington among others, says he is unsure of any more unofficial visits, but he does know five schools that would be out in front if he were to make official visits.
