It is not unusual for a junior prospect to work in a quick Saturday trip to a
college campus but 6-foot-9 Lawrence North power forward Stephan Van Treese got an early enough start to work in a pair of visits.

The Lawrence North power forward says the Hoosier staff was hopeful that his
recruitment wasn't going to be a long one.

After making the trip to Indiana late in the work week, the youngster made a
quick visit to Purdue.

Besides the two in-state Big Ten programs which he has said have both offered
scholarships, Van Treese has recently mentioned the following schools: Notre
Dame (offer), Ohio State (offer), Kentucky, UCLA (offer), Florida, Louisville,
Wisconsin, Michigan State, North Carolina, Kansas and Wake Forest.
