The class of 2008 is considered to be very weak from top to bottom. However, the same cannot be said about the 2009 class. To date, a total of 23 four and five-star prospects have expressed some degree of interest in Kansas. According to Peyton Siva, the 5-foot-11, 165-pound point guard from Franklin High School in Seattle, Wash., his interest in the Jayhawks is currently very high.

He is being recruited by Kansas, Arizona, Washington, Louisville, Miami (Fla.) and others.
