Scott Suggs takes his shot and commits to Washington
Husky Digest has learned that Scott Suggs, a 2008 small forward from Washington High School in St. Louis, Missouri has committed to the Washington Huskies. Bruno Chu spoke to Scott's mother today and she confirmed the news.
Frank Cusamano of KFNS 590 and NBC in St. Louis reported the news this morning and his father Ron Suggs also confirmed it with Rivals Justin Young (see link).
This is a great way for UW to add to its already stellar class of 2008. Scott is a long, great shooting wing that has been described as one of the best shooters in the class of 2008.
He is listed as the #22 shooting guard and at 6-foot-6 is certainly tall enough to play and guard other positions. He and his family's great and long standing relationship with Coach Lorenzo Romar, plus the good fit for him in the Washington system are certainly two of the main keys to his decision.
