Cats still an option for New York PF?
Recently, Kentucky has found that staying on a high-profile recruit's list of prospective schools is a lot harder than getting placed on the initial list.
The big names in the Class of 2008 that are still available have mostly wrapped up summer events and are narrowing their lists or making decisions. More times than not in the last few days, UK coach Billy Gillispie has been left on the outside, looking in.
One player who was receiving interest from UK earlier this summer says the line of communication has slowed down lately and may be ready to move on without the Wildcats in his plans.
"I guess you could say there is some communication," said Mt. Vernon, N.Y., power forward Kevin Jones. "They still send me mail. But I haven't spoke to (Gillispie) on the phone or met with him in person for a long time.
