Vegas: Day Three Notes

Peegs.com With each game Indiana commit Bud Mackey continues to look more comfortable out on the court. Yesterday in Indiana Elite/Team Indiana's first tourney game, he played limited minutes but tied teammate Tyler Zeller for high scoring honors with 15 points. That game was an easy blowout win over Donyell Marshall Foundation and both Mackey and Zeller sat out much of the second half. Apparently Mackey has fit in so well with the team that he may scratch plans to return home after the Super 64 event and instead head to Los Angeles with this team for their summer ending tournament out there.
Matt Roth had a quieter game than the night before when he stroked seven treys. Still just a couple hours after that game we were told by Indiana Elite people that his Washington High School coach Kevin Brown received news that Indiana had offered a scholarship. Brown was in Vegas at this tourney game and we briefly talked to him and will discuss that in Friday's Inside the Locker room feature.
