Acy and Blue Chips Elite fall short

Rebel-Net.com With so many games in so little time at so many different venues, sometimes AAU squads start the day and end the day on a sour note. That was the case Monday for Texas Blue Chips Elite.
Quincy Acy, the slight-framed, high-jumping Rivals.com four-star power forward scored 13 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and blocked 2 shots in the Blue Chips' 58-54 setback against DC Triple Threat.
In the nightcap, Acy and his Texas squad suffered their second loss of the day, a 61-55 defeat at the hands of Southeast Elite. The Blue Chips fell behind early and never mounted a serious attack.
