Georgia forward suddenly a hot name

Orangebloods.com Lilburn, Georgia forward Wesley Witherspoon put together quite possibly the best stretch of basketball of his young career last weekend at the Peach Jam tournament. Playing in his home state of Georgia, the 6-8, 185-pound wing put came through with a string of impressive performances for the Georgia Stars scoring a career-high, attacking the paint and even logging some minutes at point guard. Witherspoon was proud of the way he performed last weekend.
Witherspoon is now looking at several more schools than in May, but has remained true considering the programs that recruited him in the beginning. He's interested in Texas, North Carolina, Kansas State, George Washington, Fresno State, Clemson, Florida, Oklahoma, LSU, Georgetown and Illinois.
