Impressive summer improvement for Rohde

ASUDevils.com It's been a year almost to the day since Phoenix Pinnacle High School star Taylor Rohde became the first in-state prospect to verbally commit to Arizona State coach Herb Senek. Less than a week later, Rohde was diagnosed with a stress fracture in his right foot, which forced him out of action for several months. It's taken until now for Rohde to get completely back to 100 percent.
Rohde was limited in what and how much he could do during the second half of 2006, and he had a rather slow and unimpressive start to the AAU season, beginning with the evaluation period in April, as he tried to catch up physically.
At the Arizona State Skills Camp several weeks ago, Rohde and the other post players were taught drills and coached on fundamentals by associate head coach Mark Phelps, and they were able to see current Sun Devil Jeff Pendergraph demonstrate proper technique.
