Vargas continues inching closer to a decision
Five-star forward Eloy Vargas continue to build momentum on the AAU circuit, and college coaches continue to chase him around the country hoping to land his signature. The 6-foot-10 prospect from American Heritage School in Hollywood, Fla., is one of Louisville's top prospects, and the coaching staff has shown a ton of interest in him this summer.
Hertz said Vargas has been impressed by the attention from the Cardinal coaching staff. Richard Pitino has been on the recruting trail everywhere Vargas has been, and the prospect is looking forward to seeing the elder Pitino in Vegas at the biggest event of the summer next week.
