Its been a hectic couple of months for Verdell Jones, the 6-foot-4, 160-pound point guard from Central High School in Champaign, Ill. Aside from trying to improve his game on the AAU Circuit, the three-star prospect recently took an unofficial visit to an elite level school.

Jones, who is being recruited by the likes of Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Tennessee, Arizona, Arizona State, DePaul, Texas A&M, UCLA, Southern Illinois, Louisville and Oregon, plans to trim his list of schools in August.
