Gophers offer South Dakota big man
One of the hottest summer names in recruiting is that of Colton Iverson of Yankton, South Dakota. At 6-foot-9 and 240 pounds, Iverson plays in the paint like the Tasmanian Devil and high majors are loving his intensity. Touring with the South Dakota Heat, Iverson has helped them to a 29-6 record this summer and he was recently named MVP of the Hoosier Shootout.
The offers are piling up for Iverson and it's his fire for playing in the paint at 6-foot-9 that has caught attention.
At this point Minnesota, Nebraska, New Mexico, Washington State, Colorado State, Richmond, Indiana State, Eastern Kentucky and North Dakota State are amongst the offers and the interest continues to build. More teams are likely to offer soon and the latest high major to become seriously interested is Notre Dame. Others interested include Iowa State, Creighton, Iowa and Penn State.
