Five-star Green in no rush
With no shortage of elite level big men in the class of 2008 power forwards are separating themselves this spring with their play on the hardwood. Alabama big man Jamychal Green is letting his game do the talking this go round on the grassroots circuit.
The 6-foot-8, 225-pound power forward from St. Jude High School in Montgomery stood nose to nose with some of the best players in the nation.
At the Wallace Prather Memorial Classic, Green offered up a list of Georgia Tech, Florida, Virginia, Marquette, Alabama, Auburn and Ole Miss. He admitted a pair of new schools has joined the race.
"It changed a little bit but it's the same schools. I have Indiana and North Carolina now looking at me," Green said.
