At the recent Adidas May Classic, Indiana Elite-ONE came home with the tournament title for the 16 and under division. One of the big reasons why they won it all is because of D.J. Byrd. Byrd is one of the most highly regarded players in the state of Indiana, and also is asserting himself as one of the better wings in the country.

That hard work is paying off in the form of recruiting attention. Schools showing interest include Indiana, Xavier, Illinois, Louisville, West Virginia and Purdue.
