Kentucky emerges for another 5-star player

CatsIllustrated.com Tony Woods is rapidly becoming one of the hottest prospects in the Class of 2008 so it should come as little surprise to followers of the Kentucky Wildcats that the new staff is already hustling in pursuit of the Rome (Ga.) big man.
The 6-foot-11, 215-pound Peach State gem recently moved up to a five-star ranking and the No. 15 position nationally in the Rivals 150 and added a scholarship offer from the Cats.
Woods has been drawing attention from several major programs. Alabama, Florida, UConn, Georgia Tech, Auburn, Georgia, Cincinnati, Clemson, Kansas State, Virginia Tech and UCLA are just a few of the schools who have been in touch.
Kentucky is new to his list, but Woods sounds eager to explore the Wildcats as an option.
