Georgia three-star wing has top five

MountaineerIllustrated.com The Appalachian State men's basketball program had a historical season in 2006-'07, winning 25 games and losing only eight. The impressive season, matched with consistent recruiting, has enabled the Apps to continue building toward the title of a Southern Conference power. With several big men slated to graduate after next season, Houston Fancher and his staff have been looking long and hard at potential replacements.
As of now, the ASU staff has Mundy's Mill High (Fayetteville, Ga.) product and Rivals.com three-star prospect Dennis Harris toward the top of their list and vice versa.
"Right now I've got a top five that I'm looking at," the 6-foot-9, 195-pound Harris said. "It's Appalachian State, Cincinnati, Virginia Tech, Auburn and Western Kentucky (in no particular order). I'm interested in some other schools but those are just my favorites right now.
"I have offers from all of those schools, plus Xavier, Central Florida, Toledo and Tennessee Tech. I'm also getting some interest from Georgia and Florida State but neither of them have offered me."
Harris, who is projected as a wing forward on the collegiate level, has already made several unofficial visits and currently has intentions to set up his first official visit sometime in the near future.
