Hoops: Green back on the radar

TheWolverine.com With Tubby Smith having left Kentucky for Minnesota, several coaches around the country have made it a point to retarget Saginaw High's Draymond Green, a talented, 6-7 forward who helped lead his school to the state Class A championship.
New U-M head coach John Beilein was one of them, wasting little time in making an impression on both Green and Saginaw head coach Lou Dawkins. Smith, as expected, has made Green a Gophers priority, while Dawkins reported Michigan State recently stepped up with an offer.
Beilein threw a hat into the ring immediately following his hiring.
