2009's Murphy has three offers

Rivals.com Basketball Recruiting Class of 2009 forward Erik Murphy was the object of attention for a number of high-major coaches over the weekend at the Pitt Jam Fest. The 6-foot-8 big man from St. Mark's High School in Southborough, Mass., didn't disappoint either.
Murphy, one of the top prospects in the Northeast, played a fundamentally sound game inside the post and showed off a great knack for scoring buckets at the rim. Murphy, the son of former Boston College star Jay Murphy, played like a guy that has been around the game his entire life and understands the power forward position. He and fellow big man Andrew Van Nest worked the high-low game nicely and fed off of each other's skill set.
