New offers for McDonald

Orangebloods.com Phillip McDonald has gone from a virtual unknown starting his junior season at Cy-Springs to a top 100 prospect in the 2008 class with several offers. The 6-foot-4 sharp shooter was known as a catch and shoot player after a strong sophomore season, but his expanded game combined with a growth spurt and newfound athleticism have made him one of the state's top prospects.
The first heavy recruiting attention for McDonald came from the likes of in-state powers Texas and Texas A&M as well as UVLV, Miami (Fla.) and UTEP.
