Sophomore Prospect Sees Increased Interest
Unlike many other states, the state of Illinois' established talent for 2009 is seen in the backcourt, while the frontcourt is still seeking some more prospects to step up and establish their game. One of the few players who have established themselves thus far is Eureka's Jordan Prosser. The 6-foot-8 prospect received All-State Honorable mention honors earlier this month, and is ready to get started in the AAU season.
Prosser noted that his recruitment has picked up some pace over the past few months, as California, North Carolina, Arizona, as well as most the Big Ten schools have been showing interest. However, the hardest pursuer is also the closest to his Eureka home, as Bradley has been very active with Prosser. Thus far, Bradley is the only school on his list to extend an offer, but with a strong summer, expectations are that other schools may follow suit.
